Jim hosts an exhibition featuring artworks by Military Veterans of Arizona at The Sagrado Galleria to honor Veteran’s Day.

"In this current political environment the Latino veteran bears a societal stigma of being part of issues affecting all Latinos which is the immigrant issue. They , however, represent the true story of the multicultural community of America where all at one time were immigrants except the Native-American. Ironically most of the Mexican-Americans have Native-American genes but the heavy-handed colonialism of Spain made it shameful to acknowledge this lineage. The Latino soldiers in America have been present in every U.S. war, every conflict, every police action and they did their job, they have the distinction of having been awarded more medals than any other culture in U.S. Military history. They earned their patriotism and they have set an example of personal sacrifice for this nation, their nation.

Latino soldiers continue to proudly serve and when they return to civilian life they contribute to the well-being of thier families, communities and nation. This exhibit presents artwork from these veterans, it bears your attention, your respect and your love."
